The Continuous Care Quality Assessment and Coordination Framework

Required Accreditaion Criteria

To be eligible for accreditation, all entities must meet the established criteria outlined within the Accreditation Criteria and Continuous Care Quality Assessment and Coordination Framework.

Accreditation: Minimum hours of Guided Learning against credits

Continuous quality assessment – revalidation of certificate Biennially

Coordination Framework: Private Sector led Geriatrics Social Sector Skill Council

Number of learners for each training centre would be determined by capacity of facilities and human resources needs.

Content of registration for both facilities and trainers

All Care/Training institutions must be registered under NSCC and must partner with care facilities that are approved and accredited for care of older persons

To be certified and accredited in each State: Must have Corporate Affairs Commission registration and be approved by the relevant ministry of older persons in the States) Certified trainers by NSCC and NBTE (Sector-skill Council)

Each training centre must update records of their trainers annually
